The ZHS swim and cross-country teams paired up to compete in the 1^st Annual Splash and Dash hosted by the Americana YMCA on Sunday, August 17. 
Swimmers had to complete a 500m swim then tag their partner who finished with a 3.1 mile run. It was an excellent day of team spirit, fun, and athleticism.   Thank you to the YMCA for hosting a great event. 
19 teams competed including our two head coaches Julie Peveto and Julie Fink. "Team Julie" had a great time cheering and competing with the teams.
Awards were given for the top teams in each category:
1^st men's team- Carson Darwin and Max Gennaro
1^st women's team- Myra Jenkins and Blair Smith
1^st co-ed team- Irie Brown and Elijah Dunaway
