Raymond Named 1st Team, Bell Earns 2nd Team Recognition
The Zachary High School girls basketball program continues to prove itself as one of the premier programs in Louisiana, as two Lady Broncos have been recognized on the LSWA Class 5A All-State Teams.
Leading the way is Ava Raymond, who earned 1st Team All-State honors and was also named an Outstanding Player. Raymond played a pivotal role in the Lady Broncos' dominant season, consistently impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Her leadership, scoring ability, and defensive presence helped set the tone for one of the top teams in the state.
Joining her on the All-State list is Asia Bell, who was named to the 2nd Team All-State. Bell's relentless effort, athleticism, and consistency throughout the season made her a key contributor to Zachary's success. Whether it was creating opportunities offensively or locking down opponents defensively, Bell delivered when it mattered most.
These honors reflect not only individual excellence but also the strength of the Lady Broncos program as a whole. Competing at a high level all season, Zachary continues to develop athletes who perform on the biggest stage and earn statewide recognition.
With multiple players recognized among Louisiana's best, the future remains bright for Lady Broncos basketball.
