The Zachary High School softball program was well represented in the District 4-5A postseason honors, with multiple Broncos earning recognition for their performances throughout the 2026 season.
Leading the way for Zachary was the group of First Team All-District selections. Sophia Hebert earned First Team honors as a pitcher after a strong season in the circle, while Avery Hastings was recognized on the infield. Kendall Brown earned First Team honors in the outfield, and Destiny Green was selected as a utility player.
The Broncos also had two athletes named to the Second Team All-District squad. Sydney Canty-Ford was recognized at catcher, while Avery Moffett earned honors on the infield.
Zachary continued to showcase its depth with four additional players receiving Honorable Mention recognition. Riley Guy was honored as a pitcher, Haidyn King earned recognition on the infield, Amelia Woodard was selected on the infield, and Alyssa Anderson was recognized in the outfield.
The postseason honors reflect the hard work and consistency displayed by the Broncos throughout the year. With contributors recognized across multiple positions, Zachary softball once again proved to be one of the most competitive programs in District 4-5A.
Congratulations to all of the Broncos who earned all-district recognition this season. #ItsAllAboutTheZ
