Zachary Swim competed in their first meet Saturday and had a great start to the season.  Our Broncos swam against Baton Rouge Magnet, Denham Springs, and West Feliciana.  The men's team was 2^nd and overall, ZHS was third.

Congratulations to Warren Griffin and Rafael Millan Ropero for qualifying for the division 1 state meet. Warren qualified in the 50 freestyle, and Rafael made the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke cuts.

Even though it's early in season, we had many swimmers post a personal best time in their events.
200 free: Aaron Torres
50 free: Irie Brown, Warren Griffin, Carson Darwin, and Max Blanchard
100 fly: Max Blanchard
100 free: Rosie Cranford, Cade Hebert, and Carson Darwin
100 breast:  James Thornhill, Jackson McElroy

The team showed a lot of energy and team spirit as always!  Coach is excited for the season ahead. Go Broncos
