Coach Kendall Cleveland begins his 15th year at ZHS as running backs coach. Kendall is a 1994 graduate of West Orange-Stark High School in Orange, Texas. While at West Orange-Stark he was a four-year letterman in both football and track. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in 1999 in Kinesiology. At LSU Kendall was a four-year football letterman (1995-98). Cleveland’s coaching experiences include West-Orange-Stark High School, Galena Park High School (Houston), and Central High School (BR). Coach Cleveland’s experience at ZHS has included 2 State Quarterfinal appearances 2013 and 2020, 4 State Semifinal appearances in 2014, 2016, 2019 and 2022, 1 State Runner-up in 2023 and 4 State Championships Titles in 2015, 2017, 2018 & 2021. He and his wife Nakeisha Robertson Cleveland have four children: Kamerin, Kendall, Nyja and David.
