Amanda Woosley enters year 7 as Zachary throws coach. She was Named Milesplits 2023 assistant coach of the year after her female throwers went 1-2 in the shot and scored an impressive 18 points at the LHSAA indoor state championship and a total of 35 points at the LHSAA outdoor state meet. She has coached multiple state champions and two state record holders at her tenure in Zachary. Prior to her time at Zachary she spent five years as the Episcopal Throws coach and had an impressive, eight state champions and 12 top three finishers in 2A. She’s been apart of over 10 team state champions. She holds a CSCS in strength and conditioning and currently teaches 1st and 2nd grade PE.
