Coach Angie grew up in Baton Rouge, playing for Baton Rouge United and Woodlawn High School. Her Baton Rouge United D’Feeters team were six-time state champions and were semi-finalists in the 1994 and 1995 Region III Championships. She played at Mississippi State University from 1995-1997 and Louisiana State University in 1998. Coach Angie also played for the W League Gulf Coast Chaos team in 1996. She was a five-time member of the Louisiana ODP team.
She just completed her second year as Head Girls Soccer Coach at Zachary High School. She was previously the head coach at The Dunham School in Baton Rouge. Prior to that, she coached Runnels, where she has been named District Coach of the Year three times. Her previous high school coaching experience includes Episcopal (Head Coach), U-High (Boys Assistant), St. Joseph’s Academy (Assistant/Co-Head Coach; Semi-Finalists, All-Metro Co-Coach of the year), and Woodlawn (Head Coach). She has 25 years of coaching experience in club, middle school, and high school levels. She has also coached the Louisiana Olympic Development Program for two years.Â
Coach Angie currently holds a USSF C License, USSF Y License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, and Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University, and a Cardiovascular Sonography diploma from Southern Medical School of Ultrasound. Angie and her husband Chris have three daughters, Sophia, Savannah, and Summer.
