What a weekend it was for ZHS Athletics! 

Starting off the weekend was our Boys Basketball team. They finished off the district/regular season defeating the Catholic High Bears 56-54. They now await the release of the Playoff Brackets! More information will be given when they are released!

Our Baseball Team traveled to Sulphur, La for the Navarre Auto Group Shootout Tournament and left the weekend 2-1. The Broncos lost to Sulphur 2-3 and defeated Waxahachie (Tx) 6-0 and Barbe 4-2! They play Walker tomorrow night at John Herty Field.

The Softball Team traveled to the Livonia Tournament and went 2-1 as well. They Lost to St Michael's 7-8 and defeated Breaux Bridge 16-4 and Port Barre 20-3! They will travel to Belle Chase tomorrow to take on the Cardinals. The game will begin at 5:00.

The Girls Powerlifting Team competed in their Regional Meet this Weekend. The results were:

Kai Richard -Regional Champ

Gabby Anthony -Regional Runner up

Nilah Duhe -4th place

Megan Roussell -4th place 

And finally our Track Team competed in the LHSAA Indoors State Championship! Our girls finished as The Division 1 Runner Up. The meet came down to the Girls 4x4 and our girls came in 2nd to secure the runner up finish! The team will now have a week off from competition and begin the Outdoor Season Thursday March 6th at The Saints Relays! The Boys team finished 10th.
